Homelab

For many years, I’ve been running my own homelab in one form or another. It started when I ran Microsoft® Exchange Server 2010 and BlackBerry® Enterprise Server Express on an old PC at home to make full use of my BlackBerry smartphone, and has since expanded to both on-premise across two continents and across three cloud providers.

Whilst I’ve never written publicly about my homelab before, Apple is withdrawing Advanced Data Protection for iCloud in the UK as I write this, which has spurred me on to begin doing so, in the hopes that what I’ve done might be helpful to others who are as disappointed in the stance of the UK government as I am.
